Chachoengsao is a laid-back riverside province just an hour east of Bangkok, sitting along the Bang Pakong River. Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan – Chachoengsao's most important temple, home to the revered Luang Phor Sothon Buddha image, a major pilgrimage site for Thais nationwide.
